Also rather interesting.... and actually I haven't been paying attention really. Who are the major stakeholders wanting to abandon generic net neutrality in your perspective?
From a naîve perspective, a change of paradigm away from absolute net neutrality seems like a bad thing. I have a feeling that the notion has some inertia to it, though. Well, time will show.

Nobody else than the the telco's that are ISPs would opposed net neutrality
